Description:
- Develop initial schedule for project, then update, maintain, communicate, and manage all subcontractors and vendors in accordance with the schedule
- Keep informed on and ensure that all requirements of insurance, safety, labor relations, and Equal Employment Opportunity are met
- Inspect jobsite to assess construction progress and keep all involved parties updated on a regular basis (including weekly update for clients)
- Develop, review, approve, and implement project budgets, schedules, and contract bid documents
- Coordinate and provide direction for budget estimation, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, construction functions
as they relate to completion of project - Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, Owner Contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily
correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project documents - Ensure timely and accurate billings, accounts receivables, and project completion through scheduling and management of material and document submittals and approvals
- Provide organization, direction, and training of subordinate project team members
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Construction Engineering or Construction Management preferred), from an accredited college
or university preferred - Two or three years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or at least five to seven years of construction related experience
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50 lbs), perform manual work, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency.
- Demonstrated competency in the areas of estimation, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client
relations, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, and written and oral communication skills - A valid drivers license and safe driving record
- US Work Authorization is required
- Preferably Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Proficient with project management and scheduling software, and proficiency in current corporate software packages.
